Ointment, 333 mg/g

COMPOSITION

Each gram of ointment contains: precipitated sulfur 333 mg.

Excipients: emulsifier T-2, white soft paraffin, purified water.

WHAT IT IS USED FOR

Antiparasitic medicine for treating scabies. It has antimicrobial, antiparasitic, antifungal and keratolytic action.

HOW IT WORKS

Precipitated sulfur destroys scabies mites and their larvae, prevents their reproduction and reduces inflammation and itching.

HOW TO USE

Apply externally. On the first day, apply the ointment in the evening after washing the body with warm water and neutral soap. Apply a thin layer to affected areas 2–3 times daily for 7–10 days. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after each application.

WHEN IT SHOULD NOT BE USED

hypersensitivity to precipitated sulfur or to any of the excipients;

children under 7 years;

pregnancy.

Important to know

Do not apply simultaneously with other topical medicines — new compounds may form. Incompatible with oxidising agents (hydrogen peroxide, potassium permanganate). In children aged 8–12 years — use only on medical recommendation. During breast-feeding — use only on doctor's recommendation. Read the package leaflet carefully before use.

Possible side effects

Rare: local skin irritation, allergic reactions including hypersensitivity. If side effects occur, stop use and consult your doctor.

STORAGE

Store below 25 °C. Keep out of the reach of children. Shelf life: 36 months.
